Please don't cancel this CBS!

I love this show! Finally, a comedy that doesn't have a pat ending every week. We can see character development. The story lines are all great. Please pick this up CBS execs!

THIS SHOW HAS REALLY GROWN ON ME
January 28, 2007
okay, this show started off as crap, but has turned into a very addictive and funny sitcom. The writers must really been paying attention, because it started off paying way too much attention to the anoying and unfunny blond girl(Lucy Punch) and her equally unfunny gay ex boyfriend. I think that story line obviously didn't work so the girl has been written off the show and the guy friend sidelined to a supporting role. Now we can focus on the more funny and interesting subplots. Now that the kinks have been ironed out the Class has the potential to become a long running CBS staple. Thank you CBS for giving this show room to improve rather than just canceling it right away. Keep it coming.

The show is so good there is now a knock off of it
January 1, 2007
"The Class" is apparently so good, that there is now a copy cat of the show. It is called "In Case of Emergency".
They both have people who went to school together and reunite as adults. The problem with "ICoE" (In Case of Emergency) is they way they supposedly all start running into each other at the same time with far fetched coincidences is hardly believable. The Class at least had an intentional get together that could actually happen.
“ICoE” has a male financial wiz on the verge of suicide, and facing an indictment. “The Class” opened with a man (Ritchie Velch played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson) trying to commit suicide, because he blew the whistle as a research chemist on a drug, his company was trying to push, that could actually kill people.
“The Class” has believable characters that you can identify with and feel for immediately. The writers have created a good solid show with tons of potential for nice complex story lines. The actors do such a good job portraying the characters, I might have a hard time meeting them in person and NOT identifying them as the multi-layered person they play on The Class. It could be the next long running “Friends” like series. I hope it is. I am so tired of fake reality tv. I need something to believe in again.

The second funniest comedy on C.B.S
January 28, 2007
It is really cool. I like every plot so far. I hope to see more episodes where Richie gets more sacastic and have more interesting encounters with his ex-wife. Everyone character reminds me of someone who was in my class so I can relate.
