I would love for once to see how beautiful these women are in a natural state. Not nude! But without their hair done by professionals, without make-up, without the whiteners on their teeth so they shine. To me a woman in their natural state is the most beaitful thing. If the average girl next door had the same make up and hair stylists, I believe they too can be a contestant.

A bunch of primped up little if any talent air headed girls that look good dressed up.Most have the IQ of a fig newton.It is a waste of air time.I rather watch paint dry on the butt of a rabid animal.These girls are worse than a show dog..Actually I will watch the AKC dog show,mainly because the dogs don't have to talk just look cute......

Cannot for the life of me see why people would waste their time with things as useless as a pageant. It's one thing to have been forced into a would like this as a child but to take an obsession into adulthood---words escape me. Anyhow, a dried up entertainment with a hip feel sounds like a recipe for a swift and decisive channel change. But thats just IMO (look I used a cool hipster acronym.)
Have fun slashing me down and tearing apart my argument. Rest assured I only posted this comment so that Miss USA wouldn't have the same rating as the office :)

mixed feelings

While I do agree that it would be nice to see these women without all the hairspray, and seeing that some women looked just skinny, while others took time to eat and exercise (a good thing), I will have to say that if one can take time to write a review and not participate somehow in the community, country, or just volunteer for something, then one does not have room to talk. At least the final winner has motivation and goals. Beauty is only skin deep, don't punish a woman for being beautiful or whatever she looks like. Look in the mirror first, and look inside when you do look. Educate yourself. I too would like to change the way our country views women, it affects our children and young women. The pageants are here, I really don't care for them either, but I do know time will (hopefully) change our birds-eye view of beauty with time.

I liked and enjoyed all the USA ladies. We have some beautiful women in this country and I bet you they are as intelligent as they are beautiful. I believe that it takes a lot of hard work to get up in front of 900,000 people. Then you have to realize that because the contest is over that don;t mean the work and the expectations of other people is.
