Miss Mexico was robbed!!

Great pageant, some amazing surprises, toughest field in a long time! The only dissapointments were that Miss USA, who could have been a contender, fell, but the worst was that of the top five the obvious choice was Miss Mexico - won the suimsuit preliminaries, tall, beautiful, eloquent, gave a great answer to that creepy question from Cavalli, and easily outlooked and outclassed the rest of the top five - what a dissapointment.

Bad selection

I think the judges made a very bad choice. The best beauty is Miss Maxico followed by Miss Columbia, and then should be Miss Venuzuvela. I wish next time it will be a good selection. At least Miss Maxico should have been in the first three. The judges are totally blind and bias to select Miss Russia ( should be the last of all or should have not at all selected into the first 10 contestants).

I am a bit disappointed. I would like to have seen Miss Mexico crowned as Miss Universe. My reason is, she's got the whole package (beauty, tall, answered the last question quite well, etc.). Don't get me wrong, Miss Venezuela has it all too but as it got towards the end of the show, she looked sloppy with that hair do. Well, it's done so congrats to the top 5!!! They're all winners!

Raving beauties except for the starving winner...

The girls have never looked more beautiful. And although I totally agree that the exotic look is always more intriguing and beautiful, the winner lacks in the healthy look dept. She looks anorexic. She is the skinnest of the bunch. It is more apparent in her swimsuit photo. Please next time look at the body as much as the face. This could worsen the ideal of the "perfect body" image our daughters seek. All the girls were beautiful! Next time please think of the healthy image you want to model for our future generations before you select an example.

Not the beauties you would think!

I would say there was only a hand full of girls who were true beauties. I know it is not all based on looks, but I remember when the girls where simply breathtaking and stunning!! Now they hardly have fiqures. Times change ...but a true natural beauty is someone like Raquel Welch or Sophia Loren...those women were beautiful and are still stunning to this day.
