Every week at least one WOW!

    July 16, 2008
My husband and I find this one of the best entertainment/reality shows. We watch every week, watch the elimination show and I vote. Why do we like it? True talent, wonderful personalities, entertaining judges who know their stuff (even if we don't always agree!) We both really enjoy Nigel's comments and reactions (he DOES have a sense of humor!) And when a pair of dancers hits it, you know it. At least twice I've had a definite emotional reaction (tears and smiles) to the dance routines.

We see talent in these dancers and such a range! I am so happy to see wonderful people like Twitch, who is proving he has range and the ability to learn (hopefully he learned from last week!)

And I have to admit it, some of those dancers are just too yummy for words!

I've watched American Idol, and at times I feel that show is just too bland in the talent that ends up in the top (although I was pleased by the most recent season's winner). My husband won't watch Idol, but he loves Dance. (Funny thing is he can neither dance nor sing!)

The variety of work offered in terms of dance styles continues to amaze me. And I am becoming more of a fan of contempory dance, thanks to this show.

As my title says, each week there is at least one WOW dance, something that surprises either the dance itself, who is doing it an PULLING IT OFF, or both.

My only criticism perhaps is that Mary does get rather shrill when she's excited. I sympathize with Nigel sitting next to her. =)

    I can't believe I love it.

When I first saw previews for this show ( I actually started watching it in the second season) I was somewhat intrigued. As a hetero/metro sexual male I was interested in the beutiful girls and the break-dancing. I never could break as a youngster but have always loved watching those that were truly good. Kinda like American Idol, you watch the first few shows for the impending trainwrecks and it hooks you. I grew up with sisters in dance so I really had no problem watching and being able to recognize genius when I saw it. The dancers are truly, and I can't empasize enough, terrific. They all adapt to multiple styles and express themselves so well. Each season seems to raise the bar way over the previous. The dancers are ridiculous. The choreography is outrageous. The judges and hostsess are simply pros.

At 63 yrs of age, I still love to view the talent

Reminds us of what we once were capable of doing but never got a chance. Travis, Benji, Donyelle, Ivan, Heidi, Dmitry, and Natalie! Wow to be young again. Very talented. As for the show. Entertaining.
Just hurry back. We are creatures of habbits and will start watching else where. Then the show will be like others just a memory(etc. The O.C.)

    This is a kick-butt show ...

    July 12, 2007
I tripped into this show last summer and have been addicted to it every since. My two grandchildren (7 and 9) will have hissy fits if we miss an episode, which is very rare. What I especially love about this show is the diversity of choregraphers, dancers, judges and special guests who perform the latest and hottest hits. I also like the fact that there is such a great (live) audience, who at times boo the judge's opinions. Great stuff ... I was astounded by Benjie (last year's winner) whose choreography was sooo him. HIs dance number was fantastic.

My only disappointment is Cedric, who really needs to be cut. He is trying but cannot touch (to me) the quality of form, technique and overall greatness of his peers. Although I admire and respect him and his ability to get where he is today without the benefit of formal training, he needs to go to make room for his peers, who blow up the screen with their skill. It is stressful for me, as a former dance student, to see some of the other dancers voted out when in fact, Cedric should go. I was also sorry to see Jessie go. She was awesome most times and was saddened to see the judges cut her. Overall, this show is the highlight of TV watching for me and my children this summer. We love it ...

I can't wait until the show starts this season

I really enjoy the show but I must say that they keep changing the way they operate. I think that you should go back to the way you picked partners in season 1, weekly by drawing names out of a hat. I think if you are going to make these people dance as a couple than a couple should win (top female and top male). A man is much stronger than a woman, therefore can do more stunts/tricks than a female.
