    The stylists creativity is tested when they find their clients have extremely long hair, some even down to the floor, and they must give them a new look without cutting a single strand of hair. For the elimination challenge, the stylists need to create a glamorous look for clients who will be walking the red carpet at an event.

  • Do It Yourself

    The competition heats up, when the stylists play a salon version of musical chairs, working together to communicate their vision for their clients to each of the remaining stylists, who all take turns working on every client in the salon. During the elimination challenge, the stylists must create a new look that will be easy for their clients to recreate themselves for the runway the next day.

  • It Looks Like a Helmet

    The stylists must create a fun new look for laid-back surfer boys, giving them hair that compliments their lifestyle, both on and off the beach. The competition heats up during the elimination challenge, as the stylists must use customized wigs to create a fashionable cut and style for prematurely balding women. Also, Oscar Blandi, one of the most sought-after stylists in the country, joins as guest judge.

  • Hair from Heaven

    Episode 6 Originally aired:  July 30, 2008

    The competition gets "colorful" when the stylists get creative with hair color, using a bright palette of greens, blues, and purples on their clients during the short cut challenge. Emmy-award nominated actress Kate Jackson joins Jaclyn Smith as guest judge for a mini Charlie's Angels reunion, where the stylists must recreate modern versions of the famous signature Charlie's Angels looks for the elimination challenge.

  • Every Dog has His Day

    The competition gets sticky when the stylists use products found in a kitchen cabinet like mustard, eggs, oatmeal and peanut butter to name a few, to style their client's hair. Creativity is key to winning this short cut challenge and also keeping their clients clean and happy. During the elimination challenge, the stylists must cut, color and style a pet owner and their dog.
