They do not show TV programs like this anymore. The Robinson family was decent, God-fearing, and had good family values. Now-a-days one of the parents are usually dead or divorced and there is a single parent raising the kids. I find it sad really. The death of the nuclear family is going to be the fall of America. You are seeing the ramifications right now.

This scifi show is based on The Swiss Family Robinson concept of a family lost in the middle of nowhere, in this case on another planet. There's a certain charm about the show. It's low key, filmed entirely a soundstage on unconvincing sets, with visits by equally unconvincing monsters. Great in black and white and later when it went color. (Hard to believe that color was the exception on '60's TV!) What I love about it is, it's the weirdest TV show ever, and I can't really explain why. Lost In Space has the best opening credits.

Nice to watch a show with out violence! Keep them comming! Bet you wish those days were back . Would love to see more star trek and shows like this Yea!.
